Fair Usage Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
Overview
Simple Fiber Communications LLC ("SimpleFiber," "we," "us," or "our") offers unlimited internet and unlimited calling with all of our plans. This Fair Usage Policy ensures that all customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
Internet — No Data Caps
SimpleFiber does not impose data caps on any internet plan. There are no overage charges. We do not throttle or slow down your connection based on how much data you use.
Internet — Network Management
We manage our network to ensure optimal performance for all customers. We do not block, throttle, or prioritize traffic based on content, application, or website. We comply with net neutrality principles.
Voice — Unlimited Calling
All VoIP plans include unlimited local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada. "Unlimited" is subject to this Fair Usage Policy.
Voice — Usage Threshold
Over 95% of SimpleFiber voice customers use fewer than 3,000 minutes per user per month. Usage that consistently exceeds 3,000 minutes per user per month, in combination with abnormal calling patterns, may be reviewed.
Abnormal patterns include:
- Excessive number of unique numbers called
- Continuous calls terminated and immediately re-initiated
- Excessive call forwarding
- Patterns indicative of automated or commercial call center use
Voice — Prohibited Uses
The following uses of SimpleFiber voice services are prohibited:
- Auto-dialers and predictive dialers
- Robocalling
- Telemarketing or call center operations (without prior written approval)
- Call pumping or traffic stimulation
- Reselling minutes to third parties
Voice — Enforcement
If we determine that usage exceeds fair use:
- We will notify you first
- We will work with you to find a solution
- If necessary, we may move your account to a metered plan or apply per-minute charges for usage above the threshold
We will not suspend or terminate service without first attempting to resolve the issue.
Modifications
SimpleFiber may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with 30 days notice.
